Episode 15: Food translations...
We're not really sure why Dulce immediately thought we would just buy a live turtle as a pet because it was on sale... It might be due to cultural differences because she is from Colombia Costa Rica. We also tease her a lot because her voice changes quite a bit when she is upset by something ;)

Episode 14: You Can't Hide...
We use technology to send very "thoughtful" gifts to our friend Ginger. For some reason, she always thinks that nobody will be able to find her... At one point, she moved to South Korea for a year, and PB&J and Cream used social engineering to track her down by finding her sister's wedding announcement... it is scary how fast and easy it was. They sent her Nicholas Cage pillow covers two Christmas ago, and a "Justin Trudeau: My Canadian Boyfriend" calendar last Christmas, so we figured we needed to honor this new tradition of finding her a suitable prank gift for this year ^^ If you have any good ideas to help us on this quest, please feel free to suggest them!

Episode 13: First phone call
So I attended a lecture the other day, and it reminded me of our first phone call. The speaker mentioned how during an exchange program in Norway, he realized that over there they had different words for "love" depending of what stage of relationship you are at: beginning relationship love, sensual love, ready to move in love, want to get married love, old spouses love, love for your kids, love for your pets, love for chocolate... He then mentioned "In English, all I could remember about love was that I shouldn't be the first one to say it!"... Oh how I can relate lol...
I absolutely did not mean to blurt out the "I love you" so soon... (I did like him a lot already though... we had been friends for a long time already). The thing is, people who know me well will know that I often finish phone calls to my parents with "love you! kisses" or to my gal friends with "love you sweetie"... so it was mostly a reflex, and a very unintentional first "I love you" in our relationship. He does enjoy teasing me about it now and then though.

Episode 12: Serious Commute Conversations (part 2)
If you thought for one second that Cream could tease me in front of others (see episode 11) without me getting back at him for it, you are oh so wrong! lol
For my health conscious readers that don't eat fast food:
- Cream was going to order 3 cheeseburgers at McDonalds.
- Frosty: frozen dairy dessert sold at Wendy's
- Whopper: signature sandwich sold at Burger King
- Timbits: bite sized fried dough confectionery sold at Tim Hortons.
- Bubble Tea: a Taiwanese tea-based drink with chewy tapioca balls.
PS: I am not sure I captured it right in the drawing: Cream didn't get angry at me, just quite embarrassed when the drive-thru staff tried to explain to him that this was not a proper order for them. With that said, I can't imagine I'd be the only person to prank their significant other in this way, so I am sure they are used to dealing with this type of situation... or they thought he had an excessively demanding girlfriend! lol

Episode 11: Serious Commute Conversations
My fiancé is mature... most of the time anyway. We do love playing pranks of each other. It certainly keeps life interesting. Also, I think he made my parking attendant's day! Now, she smiles as soon as she sees my car slowing in to pay and looks as if she is expectantly waiting for the next novelty he is gonna shout through the car speakers.
