To everyone who has been following Peach and Cream since the beginning, I am now in the process of migrating all the comics to Tapas which is more convenient than blogger to share the comic strip 🙂 I hope you will follow our adventures there!

Episode 24: Of Beards and Men
If Cream's German genes are good at one thing, it's growing facial hair! When he was deployed to the North Pole, he was allowed to grow a beard and he grew the most fuzzy, huge, unkept monstrosity of a beard... and sent me a photo.
So... NO BEARD.
It seriously looked like birds could make a nest out of it...

Episode 22: Crossing the Border
I am not even sure what to say here...
All my life, everyone I know has always rehearsed before crossing the border...
It never occurred to me that some people never had to worry about that...
When I crossed the border to go for my residency interview, I was asked "Where are you going? Where are you staying? Why are you going there? Who is paying for your trip? etc..." x 4... as if he was expecting me to answer something different every time he asked. Even though I had the interview letter from the University in my hand... Sigh...

Episode 21: The Quest for Bubble Tea
... We have Asian friends that "don't do Richmond"...
I must say we actually went and got the salted cheese bubble tea at Happy Lemon and it was delicious! That part was easy...
However, on the way there, we saw a car running a red light and almost hitting another car... and when we were waiting for a car to get out of its parking spot to take its place, another car tried to steal the spot from us! I had to jump out of the car armed with my umbrella to keep the spot. Cream was driving and was all confused at how fast I jumped out to claim our parking territory... he had never seen anyone do that before.

Episode 20: Midnight Emergency
I don't think we ever get too old to enjoy a snow day 😛
This happened on the big snow storm of Tuesday February 12, 2019 that completely paralyzed traffic in town.
Cream got back at me when his work was cancelled for the same reason Monday March 4, 2019.
Always feels good to have a day off now and then!... Even if we have to make up for it at the end of the school year anyway... we'll deal with that issue later 😛

Episode 19: Of Food and Love...
It was the week of Valentine's Day. Cream was about to board on a plane home when our friend Jonn mentioned a dumplings cooker... Cream spent his whole flight home craving dumplings resulting in us having every possible form of dumplings the whole week!
It was delicious.

Episode 17: Ao Dai
For some reason, most Vietnamese guys refuse to wear an ao dai for their wedding (with a very few exceptions amongst my friends). However, whenever one of my Vietnamese gal friends has a non asian groom, they all jump on the occasion to "wear a dress" and have such a big grin wearing the ao dai for their big day. I haven't quite figured out why it happens so, it just seems to be the case, and I know a lot of my friends will recognize themselves in this little cartoon.

Episode 16: Meeting the Future In Laws
I was in Montreal to visit my parents before this trip, so Cream and I timed our flights to land in Winnipeg just 20 minutes of each other so that we could get out of the terminal together. But, as luck would have it, my flight was very early, and his was late, so I ended up waiting inside the terminal for his flight to land for almost an hour.
His parents were tracking our flights and decided to arrive at the airport for my early arrival. They had been waiting at the baggage carrousel this whole time. They saw my bag circling around and around, but no sign of me, so got worried something had happened to me. They were really relieved to finally see me walk out of the terminal with Cream.
